Facebook Privacy Settings

I am a relative newcomer to Facebook, and therefore found the following advice piece about Facebook’s privacy settings. to be very instructive!

Overall, the nice thing about Facebook — at least the way I use it — is that the people I am interacting with on it are real people who I actually know or have known in my life.

This is a big change from days past of trying to have conversations and interactions with complete strangers on a message board.

Foreign Policy Experience

I heard a piece on NPR that interviewed a voter who said that she was nervous about Obama’s lack of foreign policy experience.

Here is a short list of presidents who also didn’t have any experience with foreign policy prior to taking office:

• Ronald Reagan
• Bill Clinton
• George W. Bush
• Abraham Lincoln

• Woodrow Wilson

Can people stop making up fake reasons to be “nervous” about Obama now?

A Call For a New Standard Web Design Practice

I am currently working on a website where I want to generate a long list of organizations along with their company logo. I wish that, as with favicons, there was an agreed upon method by which a company made available it’s current logo.
